Experienced Automotive Technician

EGM Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Elk Grove Village, IL.

Our shop services approximately 350 to 400 vehicles each month, providing steady opportunities for experienced technicians who take pride in doing the job right the first time. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide variety of domestic, Asian, and select European vehicles
  • Perform quality mechanical repairs efficiently and accurately
  • Complete vehicle inspections and recommend appropriate repairs
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors and fellow technicians
  • Follow established shop procedures and quality standards
  • Help ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical repair skills across multiple vehicle makes
  • Diagnostic and electrical experience is a plus
  • Team-oriented attitude with a dependable work ethic
  • Commitment to producing quality repairs and excellent customer service
  • Valid driver's license

This position is intended for experienced technicians. Entry-level applicants are not a fit for this opportunity.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Flat rate pay with annual earning potential of $70,000-$120,000+, based on experience and productivity
  • Monday through Friday schedule — no weekends
  • Eight paid holidays
  • Paid Time Off after 90 days
